Position: Full-Time Teller
Location: Wharton Branch
Salary: Commensurate with experience

General Summary
Under the supervision of the Lobby Service Manager, and in compliance with established policies and procedures, performs a variety of customer services including but not limited to teller and sales activities. Answers questions from existing customers, prospective customers and branch staff concerning products and/or services provided by the bank.

Minimum Level of Preparation and Training
A high school diploma or equivalent
Six months to one year heavy cash handling experience required
Be familiar with bank products and services
Previous teller, sales or retail experience preferred

Skills and Abilities
Be outgoing, friendly and eager to assist customers and/or bank staff
Have the ability to recognize a sales situation and transfer to the Personal Bankers
Have a pleasant and friendly telephone demeanor and voice
Be motivated and able to cross-sell all bank services, when appropriate
Have a full knowledge of all areas of the bank, or be able to learn them quickly
Have ability to learn about all bank products and services quickly
Have a broad knowledge of computer systems and ability to learn bank’s LAN network
Be able to deal effectively and tactfully with customers and personnel from other departments and branches

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position with a normal work schedule of 7:45 am–5 pm Monday–Friday.
